Baby Evie is here! This in-home newborn photo session was so precious. I got to photograph the Sullivan’s newest addition to their family. I’m honored to photograph these memories on behalf of Trish Allison Photography as a motherhood associate. As a Mahtomedi, Minnesota newborn photographer I consider it a huge privilege to document new members of a family.

Oftentimes parents spend a lot of time preparing a special place for their baby. That’s why your nursery is such a meaningful place to take newborn photos. To me, a baby lying on a white crib sheet just says purity and innocence. I always recommend a white crib sheet during newborn photos. It will never go out of style and lets the baby’s features shine.

Clothing choices that are neutral and elegant let the baby be front and center. The vintage touches in this nursery were my favorite pieces. The wallpaper and mobile brought a feminine touch. Floor-length neutral curtains are one of my favorite things to bring simple elegance.
